This is how we view the resiliency of the Hotel School - despite all the challenges, we welcome each new day with anticipation.

Reassemble, Reimagine, Reflect

In The 180’s fourth volume “Re:,” we wanted to reflect on what had happened and how that has affected our community, realign our life to new ways, and reimagine what the unexpected has brought for the future. We wanted to reply to this past year by acknowledging the unexpected and celebrate our resilience despite these uncertainties.

First Hello, Last Goodbye

“Welcome to The 180 and The Hotel School, how may we assist you?”

We seek to display the Hotelie values of service and lasting connections. From the “first hello” to the “last goodbye,” we are committed to giving a warm welcome and providing quality service until the very end.

The 180’s third volume will show our unique culture and highlight our values through each and every page.

Beyond Definition

The 180 not only showcases Hotelies today, but also dives deeper into what it means to be a true Hotelie.

We are students within a tight-knit community, and we strive to connect with the evolving global hospitality industry through our unique perspective. We are distinguished by our optimism and willingness to help those around us, and we are committed to staying true to our values. We are united through our understanding that working with and helping those around is the spirit of being Hotelies for life.

The moments that we share inside and outside The Statler Hall defines us as Hotelies and Cornellians. The 180 is here to capture these moments in our second issue: Beyond Definition.

The Inaugural Year

Live. Laugh. Hotelie.

We, The 180, strive to highlight the members of the Hotelie community through collections of photos and moments compiled over the course of the school year. There are a lot of happenings at The Hotel School that make it the fantastic school that it is. We want to capture these moments. We also hope to continue on the legacy that the yearbooks had: to capture memories of the year for Hotelies. And thus, the theme for this year’s publication is Traditions. We hope this first issue of The 180 will honour the yearbook tradition and start a new tradition as a yearly chronicler of The Hotel School. We hope you’ll enjoy the memories!
